Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Station House will remain closed until August at the very earliest when the Trustees will consider if we will re-open Station House and how to do so in a safe manner. It is likely there will be changes to the way we operate within the new restrictions and we will update our terms and conditions and general information pages to reflect the changes we need to make.
The Trustees hope all our guests are well and stay safe during this time.

We are a scout owned activity centre based in beautiful Wensleydale, North Yorkshire. Sleeping 20, the station house is a good base for a week or weekend visit to the area.

Bunks

The station house has four bunk rooms with a total of 20 modern adult bunks. These are flexible and configured as a two bed room with 1 bunk. A four bed room with two bunks and two seven bed dorms with three bunks and a single in each.

Camping

The station House has two designated camping areas to the west of the property that can handle a number of tents. There are no set rules on where you can and can't put tents, just common sense, i.e.dont put tents near the campfire circle.

Areas

The Station house has three activity rooms - The lounge is the comfy room, it has an open fire and a number of sofas.
The dining room has fold out tables and benches. It can be used for activities or eating.
The games room has a tiled floor and a number of games tables, like pool and table tennis.

Facilities

The Station house is equipped to support groups and outdoor activities. On the eastern flank is a covered yard with shoe store along with two shower rooms, three toilets and washing facilities. This joins the kitchen with a range of work surfaces, 6 electrical rings, a double oven and joins a utility room with numerours fridges, microwaves and general storage areas.
